Rawmarsh Comprehensive school has had its very own ghost sightings and reports of paranormal activity documented. Parts of the school in recent years have undergone refurbishment and while these new improvements were welcomed by staff and pupils, it would seem that the spirits seen here at the time were not to happy about the changes brought in. Ghostly orbs and mists were captured around the areas undergoing work and some builders claim they were made to feel like they should not be there. Rawmarsh Comprehensive is situated right next to Rawmarsh Cemetary too and it has been reported that ghostly figures have been seen wandering between the school and graveyard boundries.
