As a full time working psychic medium, i really do believe that mediumship and clairvoyance is a very real ability. It is a ability, not a gift. We all have ability within and its really down to the individual to open up this ability. I do know there will be fakes, cold readers, hot readers and plain simple frauds out there but the ability is still a very real one (for those who are genuine) in my opinion and one that has to be treated with respect. I do feel that those who can genuinely do this work can help and heal with the power of spirit. What is your thoughts? Have you ever seen a medium? Did they help you? Did they give you any proof of the afterlife?

Hi Mark. I’m very interested in what you and the team do, however I like to balance this with a sceptical view. I’ve seen a few mediums over the years. Can you answer any of these questions: Why is it that people seem to lose all the ailments they had in life when they become spirit? Why don’t psychic mediums help solve crimes, missing children, unsolved murders etc? I am of the understanding that no medium anywhere in the world has helped to solve a crime. This seems particularly odd because people that have been murdered and are now in spirit surely would want to contact mediums with the name(s) of their assailant(s) and other incriminating information which would lead to their arrest and conviction? Why don’t mediums accept the many challenges on offer in order to prove their ability and at the same time destroy the credibility of the sceptics? Leigh

Well when we die the physical body is left behind and retuns to the earth in one way or another. The soul is the part that lives on. The soul is without its vessel (the body) and without a physical body we can't have ailments. I also have seen tv shows and documentaries about psychics and mediums solving murders and crimes with positive outcomes like John says. As for psychics and mediums trying to prove their ability. Take the James Randi test for example. 1 million dollors to anyone who can prove they have a supernatural ability. Well James Randi isn't going to give no one anything because he simply doesn't believe in this work and therefor already has preconceived thoughts in his mind it's all bumf no matter what the psychic or medium may prove in their "scientific" environments of testing. How can something that's unknown (the paranormal) be tested anyway? It's already outside the realms of rational thinking and science.

Hi again.
Cheers for that. I can grasp the ailment thing now.
What TV shows/documentaries are those? I hope you are not referring to 'Sensing Murder' as that show has been well and truly debunked.
My big problem is that I just don't understand why people who have been murdered aren't queuing up in spirit to explain to mediums who did it and what happened, what the motive was and where to look for the incriminating evidence. This would bring great relief to their families too who are no doubt suffering greatly for their loss. Spirits seem quite happy to use their energy to say what the colours of balls are and what playing cards are being held up, what use is this?
Re. the spirit box sessions, are some of the snatches of music we hear (synths, guitar, percussion etc.) created by spirits, or are they earthbound instruments?
Didn't know the James Randi offer was still around, but he does give mediums a great opportunity to show the world what they do is genuine. I'd love a medium to take up the challenge and succeed, just one.

In my case it's not the spirit that tells. From one moment to the other it's just like I know.. So I think i'm getting the info passed on. For a long time I felt like I was just making stuff up and was fantasizing it myself.. but a lot of the stuff I flap out seems to add up. Sometimes I'm talking to a person and I say , this is not me saying this but I'm getting this passed on... and then say what comes up. Or I walk into a room, ground myself.. just sit down and then after a while I will know what happened to a living or a dead person of entity. or even in a past life. And it's scary sometimes...
