The Old Queens Head is thought to be Sheffields oldest building, which is thought to date back to around 1475. Originally thought to be a hunting lodge, the premises have undergone many changes to its layout over the years and what stands today is whats left of the builing. With so many renovations and changes made to the listed builing, it is no suprise that there is said to be many ghosts who reside here. With apparitions of civil war soliders seen inside the pub, along with claims of pints of beer suddenly appearing and been drank by one friendly spirit ghost, and also a not so nice spirit in the ladies toilets area who tries to unlock the cubicle doors when your inside, this Sheffield pub is a hot spot for paranormal activity. There have been hundreds of ghostly stories reported here and they continue to come even to this present day. link
